Senior Data Quality Engineer - World Vision - Poland

World Vision is currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Quality Engineer to join our team in Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and expanding the data quality improvement process within our bank. Your key responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities

Data Quality Process Coordination:
- Continuous monitoring of DQ indicators and assigning corrective actions to relevant units.
- Tracking the progress of corrective actions, collaborating with responsible units, and assisting in problem resolution.
- Reporting progress in data quality improvements at committees, forums, and to the Group CDO.
- Partnering with the Group CDO to analyze current data quality results, trends, corrective plans, and status of indicators.
- Supporting business units in the data certification process concerning DQ indicators reporting.
- Participating in banking projects aimed at improving specific data areas.
- Conducting expert analysis and recommending areas for data quality improvement activities.

Process Expansion

Development and Implementation:
- Designing and implementing a path for reporting data incidents.
- Implementing procedures and tools to maintain the process.
- Establishing lines of responsibility and control.
- Developing process indicators.
- Promoting process knowledge and priority within the organization in a friendly and encouraging way through available media (intranet/webinars/newsletters, etc.).
- Collaborating with Data Stewards (individuals responsible for specific data areas in the bank).

- Proficiency in data quality concepts.
- Fluency in English (B2/C1).
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills (query creation, filtering, aggregation, joins).
- Exceptional communication skills.

- Ability to propagate knowledge within the organization, encourage collaboration.
- Broad perspective on the context of the work performed.
- Ability to identify connections and synergies in processes.
