Job Description
The eCommerce Sr. Data Associate will work within a team alongside Project Managers, Engineers, and other departments to facilitate the smooth operation of eCommerce market research.
Responsibilities
- Use Wiser’s proprietary software to capture and organize data.
- Handle both minor and major operational tasks promptly.
- Analyze and collect large scale data for reports from various data sources.
- Identify and determine correct data linkages from databases using predetermined product lists.
- Maintain documentation of all needed process information in a format predefined by Wiser.
- Verify the accuracy of data by comparing datasets to various websites, this requires keen attention to detail and precise logging of info.
- Keep abreast with the latest internet tools, search engines, and applications and use them to optimize your search.
- Determine the keywords of the required information to narrow down specific areas on sites or find maximum information.
- Confirm the accuracy of the data on websites by comparing it with various other websites and maintain a record as directed.
- Take active steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and networks.
Qualifications
- Graduate (BCA, BBA, BSc, or equivalent), preferably in computer science or business
- At least 2 years of work experience in internet research is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in internet and computer application skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new internet applications and tools for data hunting.
- Solid understanding of internet search engines, databases, and how to optimize the search.
- A team-player attitude with a drive to assist others.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, asking questions when necessary.
- Must have the flexibility with working hours.
Shift time: 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM IST
