Our operations span across six countries in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

About the Role: Senior Data Scientist

Our new role based in Bangalore at Grab’s Data Science team is set to enhance our capabilities in the financial sector. The role is crucial in handling machine learning modeling in Spark and Python, with an imperative to manage production pipelines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop intuitive predictive models for credit risk and SME analytics.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of model deployment, validation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business and risk teams to align models with market realities and operational needs.
• Create advanced feature engineering and maintain model performance dashboards.

Professional Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL-related technologies.
• Demonstrable experience with varied machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
• Ability to generate, validate, and maintain predictive models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on results.
