Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist at RTX, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated predictive and descriptive models that address critical business and engineering challenges. Utilizing the latest advancements in statistical modeling and machine learning, your goal will be to drive significant business value through data-driven insights. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and deriving value from predictive statistical modeling for our business partners.
• Managing, architecting, and analyzing large datasets to craft impactful data models.
• Defining, prototyping, testing, deploying, and monitoring ML and statistical models.
• Recommending and applying the most suitable Machine Learning/Data Analytics methods.
• Collaborating with the application development team to integrate models into our tools.
• Supporting the achievement of organizational objectives as outlined in Policy Deployment.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AWS, Python, R, and AI/ML Model Development.
• A track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• An ability to adapt and lead in dynamic environments and foster collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will also have:

• A strong understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals.
• Experience developing PowerBI/Qlik dashboards and AI-ML Models.
• Expertise in Data Governance, Architecture, and Platforms.
• Experience with data & text mining and agile project methodologies.
• A keen ability to quickly learn new libraries and frameworks.
