About the Role: Senior Data Scientist in Artificial Intelligence

At Karat, our AI team is pivotal in breaking product boundaries and spearheading the future of tech interviewing. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will harness our rich data, utilizing advanced AI and machine learning technologies such as LLMs, to drive product innovation and influence hiring efficiency and predictivity across the tech industry.

In this role, you will:

• Extract transformative insights from data to fuel decision-making and product development
• Craft and prototype AI-driven tools and features to integrate into the Karat platform
• Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to conceive data-driven solutions
• Take the lead in projects that maximize assessment quality and relevance during technical interviews
• Mentor colleagues in Data Science and AI, enhancing team expertise and cohesion

What We Require:

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Science, AI, or a similar role within the tech industry
• Proficiency in Python and familiar with data science tools and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• A proven ability to lead significant AI or data science initiatives with measurable business impacts
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex technical details to diverse audiences

Salary & Benefits

The position is full-time and exempt, with a competitive salary range of $117,490.80 to $173,500 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Please note, this role does not currently support immigration sponsorship.
