What You'll Do:

As a Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at SAP, your responsibilities will include:

• Adopting new tools and practices to gain deeper insights into system/service performance and reliability.
• Enabling a proactive approach to Incident Management with effective alerting and recommended actions to mitigate failure risks.
• Utilizing AI and ML technologies for improved system insights.
• Implementing the latest security standards in daily work and software solutions.
• Building and maintaining automation code and tools.
• Creating platform-wide observability based on user experience and company standards.
• Collaborating with diverse teams, including Development and other technical and non-technical groups in an international setting.
• Participating in weekend and overnight on-call rotations, with special compensation, to support incident resolutions.

What You Bring:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Professional expertise with Linux/Unix (LPIC 3 or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python and Bash programming languages.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge in designing cloud architectures and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Converged Cloud).
• The ability to work efficiently in critical situations, showing a strong problem-solving aptitude.
• A team-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
