Key Responsibilities

• Manage data loading processes, ETL, data pipelines, and real-time processes.
• Ensure adherence to data standards and governance in Big Data architectures.
• Compile functional documentation and design data management procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using agile methodologies to manage various engineering tasks.
• Develop secure applications to derive insights from vast datasets.
• Analyze, evaluate, and adopt new technologies, tools, or frameworks related to data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. Certifications like Cloudera Certified Professional Data Engineer or Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer are highly valued.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the IT/Consultancy sector.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and others.
• Proven experience with Big Data technologies like Impala, Hive, HBase.
• Expertise in database management, ETL processes, and data flow automation tools like Apache NiFi.
• Exceptional Spanish and strong English language skills.
