Role Responsibilities

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role's focus will likely evolve, but currently, you will:

• Be the driving force creating a sustainable culture of delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Influence, guide, and steer cross-functional stakeholders in the delivery of a large portfolio of strategic programs.
• Monitor and track delivery status across multiple groups, teams, and cross-functional programs.
• Partner with our Operations team to mature processes, communications, and leadership engagement.
• Promote accountability and create a sense of positive urgency in delivery across groups and teams.
• Manage open issues related to program delivery.
• Assess and manage portfolio risks, issues, and decisions.
• Lead a high-performing team of TPMs, driving sustainable practices across the Super Group.
• Coach, mentor, and guide TPMs through effective growth practices and development processes.
• Recruit and build a team of exceptional TPMs within the Gen AI Supergroup.
• Manage dependencies across multiple Super Groups and Groups.
• Facilitate effective, timely, and transparent group and program decision-making practices.
• Ensure consistency in planning, documentation, and core practices to enhance team scalability.
• Facilitate continuous improvement rituals to boost the effectiveness of product development and engineering teams.
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to influence decisions, drive alignment, and prioritization.
• Partner with the TPM specialty to help codify and build the TPM craft and practice.

Candidate Profile

You’re likely a match if you have:

• Demonstrated TPM experience at a SaaS company with hands-on experience in driving large programs of work.
• Experience in leading and coaching teams to build high-performing impact across the company and develop TPMs.
• A commitment to providing an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for diverse teams.
• An understanding of technical concepts and their application to technical spaces.
• Experience in domains like AI Platforms and AI Research.
• A deep understanding of Agile product development processes.
• Experience leading and influencing Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers on strategic initiatives.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills to lead through influence and navigate complex problems.
• Leadership capability to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability towards achieving big goals.
