THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design MACHINE LEARNING-BASED SOLUTIONS in our cutting-edge intelligent platform for online luxury fashion. You will work in a friendly environment and be a part of a motivated, multicultural, and expanding team. You will build and optimise our data-driven products, through research and experimentation in a big data context. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work with the technical team to implement the end-to-end architecture; Showcase the team's work through the creation of data pipelines and APIs; Design high-performance model serving solutions and develop machine learning-based apps, data pipelines, and APIs to productionise machine learning models; Collaborate with the Data Scientists to create, train and assess ML Models and deliver end-to-end solutions for ML based projects; Promote the technological development of services and enhance their end-to-end quality and performance; Testing new ML models through AB testing methodology; Commit to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. WHO YOU ARE Experienced in implementing end-to-end data products with Data Engineering and Machine Learning aspects - from the system design to construction, deployment, orchestration, and monitoring; Experienced with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes and platforms, software design patterns, and APIs (e.g., Flask and/or Fast API); Proven experience writing production-quality code in Python, including managing dependencies and testing frameworks; Familiar with the engineering concepts of some of the popular Machine Learning practices, libraries, and platforms (e.g., MLflow, feature store, VSE, Kubernetes, Databricks, Spark, PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn among others); Keeps pace with best practices and modern tools of software engineering, advocates for code quality and continuous improvement; Not afraid to fail.
