About the Role:

Become an integral part of our Air Traffic Systems team at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, as a Senior Systems Engineer. In this critical role, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art Domestic Air Traffic Control and Weather Data Reporting systems. Armed with GPS aided navigation and robust system support capabilities, you will help take air traffic management to the next level.

What You Will Do:

• Offer technical guidance and clarify software and testing requirements.
• Engage in comprehensive system engineering analyses to include trades studies, requirement definitions, and validations.
• Develop operations concepts and craft detailed planning procedures.
• Regularly communicate with various organizational teams and represent the program at technical meetings.
• Participate actively in daily scrum meetings and manage tasks within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Basic Qualifications:

• A STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years in systems engineering, or an advanced degree with 3 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in IBM DOORS, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite, and other engineering tools.
• Due to the nature of this position, it is only open to U.S. citizens.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior development experience on FAA Government Contracts.
• Experience with Systems Integration, Agile Development Processes, and Test Execution.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
