Role Overview:

As a Senior/Lead Data Scientist at Copeland, you will:

  • Develop sophisticated machine learning models and use advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business and engineering challenges.
  • Work collaboratively to design customer-centric analytics and automation enhancements.
  • Utilize data visualization tools effectively to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to peer-reviewed analytics techniques translating into practical applications.

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with a strong foundation in system dynamics and control logic.
  • Experience in machine learning, data modeling and signal processing using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Proficiency in data quality automation and ETL processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • A Doctorate degree or additional Master’s degree in an Engineering or Analytics/AI related field.
  • Advanced expertise in green refrigerant technologies and system simulation.
  • Leadership experience in predictive maintenance and technical project management.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.

Flexible Work Schedule:

This role provides the flexibility of a remote work option for up to three days a week, with core working hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
