Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions, while exploring innovative approaches and improving system architecture.
  • Write secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate seamlessly with various systems.
  • Create complex architecture and design artifacts, ensuring design constraints are met during software development.
  • Analyze diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems continuously.
  • Drive improvements in coding practices and system architecture by identifying patterns and problems in data.
  • Participate in software engineering communities and events to explore new technologies.
  • Enhance our team culture by promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering with at least 3 years of practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL and Data Warehouse system design, application development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in JAVA, Python, PySpark, Spark, or similar languages.
  • Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies like CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical disciplines such as cloud computing, AI, or machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will demonstrate familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies and tools such as AWS, Databricks, Glue, and NiFi.

This is a hybrid position based in our Plano, Texas office. It is not a remote-only position.
