About the Role:

As part of our team, you will help develop embedded systems that combine custom hardware, specialized lighting, optics, and world-class vision algorithms to read high-density symbols on various industrial parts. These include aircraft engines, electronics substrates, and pharmaceutical test equipment. Our devices are designed to process hundreds of codes per minute, requiring optimization of both hardware and software for cutting-edge technology.

About You:

Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic software professional with a can-do attitude and a passion for learning new developments to keep our software platform state-of-the-art. We're looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

• Engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in developing software in C, C++, and Python.
• Desirable work experience in automated white box testing.
• High energy, motivated learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

What You Will Do:

• Write white box tests in Python to exercise all aspects of the embedded systems.
• Enhance existing C, C++, and Python source code and test frameworks.
• Debug and fix existing source code in C, C++, and Python.
• Create test specifications or review requirement specs for completeness and testability.
• Maintain, analyze, and communicate results of test robots.
• Occasional travel to the USA or Hungary.
