What is a Specialist Data Analytics?

The Specialist Data Analytics position at PMCL-JAZZ focuses on providing critical data analysis and insights. This role requires expertise in Python, SQL, and MSBI tools (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS), along with proficiency in modern ETL/ELT techniques. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager of Data Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist Data Analytics, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, and implement effective data solutions.
• Design and operationalize custom dashboards using SQL Server, SSRS, and Tableau to address specific business issues.
• Play an active role in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data marts, as well as in the optimization of existing workflows.
• Engage in the requirements gathering process to better understand stakeholder needs and provide strategic insights through data analytics.
• Manage end-to-end data analytics projects ensuring accuracy, thorough analysis, and comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited university.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and managing databases and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proven experience in BI project implementation and dashboard development using Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technology teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• A result-oriented, self-driven, and flexible work attitude.
