Key Responsibilities

As a Splunk Data Analytic SME, you will be at the forefront of optimizing data flow through advanced aggregation and filtering techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in:

  • Analyzing unstructured and semi-structured data leveraging techniques such as latent semantic indexing, entity identification, and complex event processing.
  • Applying innovative non-traditional approaches to analyze large-scale unstructured data to support high-value use cases visualized through sophisticated multi-dimensional interfaces.
  • Managing high-volume data collections and high-velocity data streams, ensuring efficient data processing and indexing.
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines and creating key connections between data sources and our Re-Usable data asset model.
  • Developing integrations and configuring data warehouses to facilitate smoother operational flows and enhanced data management strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Master's degree with 6+ years, or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive experience in Splunk Data Pipelining and SIEM engineering within customer-focused environments.
  • Proven capabilities in network device design and management on a large enterprise scale.
  • Proficiency in scripting and development with languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Experience with Linux and SQL/ODBC interfaces and familiarity with data transport and transformation APIs/technologies.
  • Hold active Splunk Core Certifications, specifically Splunk Architect level or higher.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain US Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) and experience with enterprise analytics.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and experience in automating Splunk deployments in cloud environments.
  • Background in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Office365).
