Sr. Analyst – Data Science

The Empower India Marketing Data Science team is seeking a Sr. Analyst to join its Advanced Analytics team. You will be tasked with developing and implementing algorithms to support lead generation, next best actions, and brand spend optimization. If you are an analytical thinker who can turn complex business problems into actionable insights, this role is for you.

Role Responsibilities

• Translate complex business problems into analytical problems.
• Identify, collect, interpret, and clean data for analysis.
• Generate insights using data modeling techniques and contextualize results within the business framework.
• Perform data manipulations and transformations to support model construction and validation for lead generation and brand spend optimization.
• Collaborate with external partners to understand optimization/attribution modeling and help build this capability in-house.
• Manage projects independently from start to finish.
• Present analyses and results to senior stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Business Management, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.

Required Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to quickly learn new technologies and statistical techniques, including Machine Learning, AI, SAS, AWS, and Python.
• Experience with time-series based predictive models.
• Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques and their applications in marketing funnel lead generation.
• Capability to handle end-to-end projects independently.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Technical expertise in data modeling using statistical techniques and data mining.
• Experience generating and automating BI reports.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques such as Time Series, Regression, Segmentation, Clustering, Market Mix, Machine Learning, and AI.
• Strong analytical skills to understand business problems, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting results to senior stakeholders.
• Prior experience and understanding of US wealth management is preferred.
• Self-motivation, accountability, and ownership skills.
• Strong team player.
