The Role: Senior Data Engineer

Amplify Consulting Partners is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Analytics team. In this role, you will build data pipelines and models using cutting-edge technologies such as Matillion, Snowflake, and DBT. Experience with Fivetran or Rivery is a bonus. You will collaborate with solution architects to create scalable, modular code and metadata-driven processes. Your work will involve communicating and documenting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build state-of-the-art data pipelines and models.
• Collaborate with solution architects on scalable processes.
• Communicate and document work for diverse audiences.
• Engage in hands-on client work while exploring project management and technical best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a passion for solving data problems.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and turning business requirements into SQL.
• Snowpro Certification is a plus.
• Experience in building production data models from scratch, preferably using a star schema.
• Proficiency in DBT, Matillion, and/or Snowflake, with a willingness to learn additional technologies like Fivetran, Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory.
• Basic understanding of reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics and data integration from various sources.
• Experience in scripting languages and automation (including procedural SQL).
• Exceptional communication skills across all mediums.

Salary and Benefits

We ensure transparency in compensation, with a starting salary range of $110,000 - $140,000. As you excel at Amplify, there is potential for salary increases and promotions, with an earning potential of up to $160,000.
