Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a reliable and scalable big data platform.
• Create micro-service-based distributed systems involving multiple components.
• Architect and develop high-throughput data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and the UI team to deliver quality data for machine learning and security analysis.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and system capacity planning.
• Take part in on-call duties and work with the DevOps team to maintain the SaaS platform.
• Assist the support team in troubleshooting system failures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java or Golang) with strong design pattern knowledge.
• 3+ years of Python programming experience.
• Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, distributed systems, and databases.
• Practical experience with multi-threading, multi-processing, and distributed system programming.
• Proven experience with micro-service architecture and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Problem-solving skills that involve complex algorithms.
• Strong self-motivation and a passion for tackling technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform and Helm Charts.
• Hands-on experience with Spark.
• Practical experience with Elasticsearch.
• A track record of delivering big data platforms or distributed system-based products.
• Solid background in cyber/system security.
• DevOps experience.
