About the Role:

As a Staff Ecommerce Data Scientist, you will lead our efforts in deploying advanced analytics across our E-commerce platforms. From managing data-heavy frameworks to executing informed A/B testing and enhancing user engagement, your role will be pivotal in shaping our business’s online presence and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient use of SQL, Hive, Python, or R for data manipulation, machine learning, and modeling.
• Develop and optimize A/B testing methodologies to improve best practices systematically.
• Implement and oversee our analytics systems like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, ensuring precise tracking across Material Bank’s digital properties.
• Analyze user behavior, website traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics to boost web performance continuously.
• Generate periodic reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting vital metrics and insights.
• Create visualization dashboards to display performance trends and assist in data-driven decision-making.
• Drive actionable insights from data to enhance website optimization and user interaction.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in web analytics, digital marketing, and leveraging data to craft strategic initiatives.
• Preferred skills include Google Analytics certification, SEO/SEM proficiency, and familiarity with SQL and database management.
