Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is actively seeking a talented Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer to join our AH64E Programme based in Middle Wallop, United Kingdom. Occasionally, this role will support the broader BDUK platform portfolio as necessary.
BDUK operates within an engineering matrix organisation that encompasses several departments offering a wide range of technical skills, expertise, and products into our programs. Within our Product Support Engineering (ILS Engineering) department, the Logistic Support Analyst will be primarily responsible for:
- Logistic Support Analysis (LSA)
- Reliability and Maintainability
- Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis
- Engineering Data Exploitation
- Obsolescence Management
- Integrated Logistic Support Engineering
- Technical Publications
This position reports directly to the BDUK AH64E Product Support Manager and will support the Supply Chain Lead/Manager in achieving spares provision and availability objectives.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing LSA for configuration baseline changes and supporting the Supply Chain for provisioning system updates.
- Analyzing Technical Documentation to identify and resolve alternatives for long lead orders and KPI fulfillment.
- Providing initial responses for parts identification coordination with Field Service Representatives and the Product Support Team.
- Collaborating closely with the Material & Demand Forecasting Team to address spares issues and support codification.
- Ensuring configuration changes are updated in the Aircraft Document Set.
- Assessing modification activities and creating necessary documentation for sustainment solutions.
- Reviewing Maintenance Task Analysis documentation and vendor data for Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Coordinating with Systems Engineering for supplier requirements and developing Supplier Statements of Work.
- Participating in Supply Chain meetings and providing feedback to engineering stakeholders.
- Mentoring team members in the use of Technical Information.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Eligibility to obtain UK SC security clearance
- Logistic Support Analysis / Integrated Logistical Support experience
- Experience in Spares Engineering Provisioning
- Proficiency in Logistics Support Analysis with LSAR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Experience in Support Engineering within a Military environment
- Strong ability to ensure first-time quality
- Experience with international support standards such as Def Stan 00-600 and ASD/AIA Suite of S Series ILS Specifications
- Ability to read and interpret Aircraft Drawings and engineering artifacts
- Experience in authoring Support Product documentation
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders for optimization
- Previous practical experience in Aircraft maintenance
