Team Lead Data Analyst

What you'll do

• You will lead, guide, and develop a team of dedicated and talented Analytics Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-output work setting. This includes guiding, coaching, and delivering performance assessments to team members.
• You will fuel the development and extension of our data model by comprehending the various domains of our business and transforming them into logical entities.
• You will relay technical expertise and guidance to the team, establish best practices, and ensure everyone is supplied with suitable tools and skills to effectively carry out their work.
• You will ensure that our database remains clean and well-organized to maintain its scalability.
• You will administer the access and permission concepts to our data platform, define different user categories, and ensure our data security.
• You will be accountable for our data governance concept and define data contracts and SLAs.
• You will establish and carry out data quality checks and validation procedures to guarantee data accuracy and reliability in reporting.
• You will preserve our documentation of business entities, metric and dimension definitions, disseminating your knowledge throughout the company. You will advocate for good data practices and educate the company on data literacy.

Who we are looking for

• You have verifiable experience in data modeling and the application of dimensional models and star-schemas (3NF and data vault 2.0 is advantageous).
• You possess strong leadership and team management skills, coupled with the ability to inspire, guide, and cultivate a high-performing team.
• You have proven experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, ideally within the e-commerce sector.
• You have showcased your capabilities to function in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage several projects concurrently.
• You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership position.
• You display a good understanding of related fields such as software development, Data Analytics, and Data Science.
• You are highly self-ordered, eager to take responsibility and lead the team to the most effective solution.
• You possess strong analytical skills and are an innovative and creative team player.
