Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for an experienced Data Analyst to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills, specializing in utilizing SQL to extract and decipher large datasets, thereby driving strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from diversified sources.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries to fulfill business intelligence requirements.
  • Design, automate, and manage reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to resolve specific business queries and pinpoint trends.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ascertain data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality, resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Maintain proficiency as a knowledge expert in existing reports, dashboards, and procedural documentation.
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data analytics capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with complex query writing.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting and .csv file manipulation.
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical skills with a knack for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous.
