Summary
We are seeking a qualified Technician to evaluate, select, and apply industry-standard techniques in various disciplines under supervision. Potential responsibilities include purchasing, expediting, NDT Inspection, project controls, surveying, laser scanning, scheduling, planning, construction inspection, project coordination, automation, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist supervisors in various project aspects.
- Apply standard techniques with minor adaptations and modifications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; additional specialized training or college coursework preferred.
- 0-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, to successfully perform the essential duties.
License and Specific Skills
- Valid Driver’s License as per State law required.
- Detailed knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to project work.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors year-round.
- Able to work in protective clothing, which may elevate body temperature for up to 15 minutes.
- Must use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted.
- Ability to hear safety alarms and signals with hearing protection, sit at a desk and operate a computer for long periods.
- Capable of standing, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing.
- Visual acuity and color distinction required.
- Driving a motor vehicle and holding a valid driver’s license; ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 25 lbs.
In-Plant Specific Job Duties
Purpose of Job
To collect, analyze, and distribute data generated by the Reliability and Maintenance organizations. Ensure data accuracy for effective utilization in delivering a results-driven Reliability Centered Culture.
Key Accountabilities
- Efficient and effective delivery of Data Management Reliability Services.
- Maintaining asset hierarchy continuity within CMMS (SAP & APM).
- Capturing data for KPIs as identified by the Reliability Services & Maintenance teams (using SAP, APM, Excel, PowerBI).
- Auditing data for accuracy and reconciling discrepancies.
- Following established Reliability Services procedures and work processes.
- Setting up new equipment, BOMs, and functional locations in SAP.
- Maintaining existing equipment, BOM information, and functional locations in SAP.
- Capturing equipment changes through the MOC process (Lotus Database).
- Ensuring timely procedure completion and data entry in DMS (Microsoft Word).
- Availability to work from home during weather events or site closures, with internet access required.
Formal Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent - Required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree - Preferred.
Working Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Maintenance / Reliability Master Data Management.
- Proficiency in SAP PM: running WO/Notification reports, building maintenance plans, maintaining equipment hierarchy, and associated reporting.
