Join Our Team as a Traffic Data Analyst at WSP in Denver, CO

Exciting Opportunity: We at WSP are looking for a dedicated Traffic Data Analyst to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role includes a unique assignment with the Federal Highway Association (FHWA), working on traffic data for the National Park Service (NPS). This position offers the security of transitioning to other projects within WSP post-assignment.

Your Role and Impact

As a Traffic Data Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare and analyze the NPS Traffic Data Annual Report.
  • Investigate innovative traffic counting technologies and assess their applications.
  • Conduct in-depth traffic pattern analysis for select parks.
  • Manage data compilation and updates for the Traffic Database.
  • Support the FOTSC Manager in reporting and fieldwork activities.
  • Ensure quality control and develop QA/QC procedures.
  • Collaborate on federal and state road and transportation projects.
  • Drive government vehicles as required for project completion.

Who We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Data Analysis, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a Federal background check.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to engage in fieldwork, including hiking in varied terrains.
  • Willingness to travel to National Parks multiple times a year.
  • Residency near or ability to relocate to Lakewood, CO, with capacity to work in-office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience in the engineering consulting industry.

Compensation Details

Expected Salary Range (Colorado): $82,400 - $117,700. Salary offers are based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
