About the Global Analytics Team

The Global Analytics team is a pivotal division within Global Finance, serving as a central hub for advanced analytics and actionable insights. Comprised of 25 experts based in India, Poland, and the UK, our team supports global internal stakeholders at EY enterprise.

Our department includes specialized sub-teams in Data Engineering, Data Science, Tech, Product Development, and Analytics Translation & Insights. We operate in a highly collaborative environment using Agile methodologies for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

Our Technology Stack

• SQL, R, Python
• Advanced machine learning tools (DataRobot, etc.)
• Visualization tools (Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc.)

Our globally scaled products include WalletScan, Revenue Forecasting, Trade Analytics, Opportunity Win Forecasting, and Margin Optimizer. We also deliver tailored, ad-hoc insights and analysis.

Now is an exciting time to join us! We are seeking a Senior Analytics Translator capable of bridging the gap between business users and data science/advanced analytics teams. You will leverage your technical and business acumen to transform complex insights into actionable recommendations, fostering a data-driven culture across EY.

Key Responsibilities

People

• Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Communicate insights clearly and persuasively.
• Identify business problems and opportunities using data analytics.
• Promote the latest Global Analytics developments through quarterly calls and other communication mediums.
• Drive innovation and collaboration across teams.

Process

• Work with data scientists, engineers, and product developers to co-create data-driven solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analyses to answer business questions.
• Provide business and domain knowledge to project development.
• Maintain visibility on user requirements and provide feedback for enhancements.
• Oversee projects from planning to production stages.

Technology

• Stay up-to-date with the technology stack used in the Global Analytics team.
• Aspire to become a Citizen Data Scientist by gaining proficiency in tools like Python, R, DataRobot, DataBricks, and Azure ML.
• Keep abreast of emerging technology trends.

• Technical skills in SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot).

Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial management, analytics, business intelligence/reporting, operations, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools. Experience in data science is a plus.
