Job Description
Be responsible for designing, developing, deploying data pipelines covering the design and development of data warehouse and datamarts, using best practices and cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, design and develop data visualizations and coherent data-driven stories.
You will have the following functions:
Master the development of s using effective and efficient loads, to consolidate data in data warehouses and datamarts.
Master the technical details of BI that support the company's decision-making.
Be responsible for the efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness of the proposed designs.
Ensure the quality and consistency of the data.
Review and contribute to the BI architecture and its dashboards.
Contribute to the design and implementation of BI dashboards to communicate data effectively and in a user-friendly way.
Proficiency in business concepts and their relationship with data structures to generate coherent data products that answer business questions.
Proficiency in processes of creating, deploying, and maintaining data products.
Communicate efficiently with the different stakeholders of the company and other team members.
Manage the architecture and development of data products using technologies such as Docker, Airflow, Python, and AWS in an effective and efficient manner considering best software architecture practices and cost-benefit analysis.
Manage the experimentation, scaling, and deployment of data-intensive applications.
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar positions.
- Professional in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, or related fields.
- Desirable, with specialization courses related to the area.
- Previous experience in the use of data and dashboards to tell coherent stories and answer business questions.
- Desirable with previous experience in data visualization construction.
Technical Competencies
Competency with Python and data transformation framework.
Proficiency in Airflow and job programming and orchestration.
Competency in AWS or similar cloud providers.
Competency in database design, data warehouse and data lake.
Competency in the use of non-SQL databases.
Competency in programming: Data Structures, Complexity, and Algorithms.
Understanding Data Architecture: Data Structures, Complexity, and Algorithms.
Proficiency in SQL for efficient analytical queries: Window Functions, Joins, Aggregations, Subqueries, INSERTS, UPDATE, UPSERT and CREATE.
Proficiency in Python, Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib / Plotly for data extraction, transformation, loading, and exploration.
Proficiency in deep handling of ETL tools.
Desirable proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc
