Your Role as a Computer Architecture Intern

As a Computer Architecture Intern, you will collaborate with experts in Edge AI to enhance our Event-Based NPU's capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, simulating, benchmarking, and optimizing processor architecture for maximum efficiency and performance.
• Participating in the development and simulation of innovative algorithms to improve processing efficiency and speed.
• Evaluating planned innovations on the NPU architecture and suggesting improvements.
• (Re)training Neural Networks for enhanced performance on our NPU.
• Engaging in performance benchmarking and analysis, documenting and presenting findings to the team.
• Staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in Edge AI and computer architecture.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should be:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in computer architecture, digital design, and system-on-chip (SoC) concepts.
• Familiar with AI algorithms and neural networks, with a keen interest in Edge AI technologies.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
• Experienced with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow (a plus).
• Familiar with event-based processors and sensors (a plus).
• Excellent at problem-solving and detail-oriented.
• Collaborative and effective in communicating complex ideas.
