Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to enhance our team in Luxembourg. You will play a crucial role in the development and expansion of our data analytics platform and commercial products. This position is perfect for candidates who are passionate about leveraging their engineering capabilities to impact global agriculture, climate monitoring, and public safety.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage infrastructure capable of handling petabytes of data.
• Develop and execute data processing and machine learning pipelines.
• Establish and manage multi-environment CI/CD pipelines for streamlined code testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with scientists to enhance and deploy cutting-edge geospatial algorithms.
• Utilize modern data engineering tools such as Kubernetes, CDK, and AWS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years combined experience in data engineering and DevOps roles.
• Proven expertise in setting up and managing cloud infrastructures.
• Ability to implement and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong working knowledge of Python and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Self-motivated, creative problem solver, and an efficient team player with a proven track record of driving execution.
