Currently, we at ManTech are seeking a motivated, career and customer-focused Data Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Independently collating data to address complex intelligence issues for senior internal/external customers - Identifying and networking with appropriate sources to gather and exchange data on specialized matters - Engaging with customers to understand analytic problems, evaluate options, and recommend resolutions - Building and exploiting databases and files - Advising customers on the methods and data available to resolve an intelligence issue - Collaborating with intelligence collectors and analysts to identify and address gaps in complex intelligence problems; devising innovative analysis strategies to fill these gaps - Creating broad ranging, highly complex graphics, computational models/tools, or written/oral assessments with minimal supervision - Producing tactical and strategic analytic products, including technical articles, graphic depictions, and intelligence reports - Playing a key role in outreach efforts by collaborating with colleagues to develop customer tailored products - Delivering complex and technical briefings clearly and concisely - Providing accurate, timely, complex and sophisticated data analysis to support Agency, US national security and foreign policy objectives. - Determining the appropriate research design for data collection and analysis. Basic Qualifications: - Must have a minimum of 15 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree (can substitute for 4 years of experience) - Related certifications Clearance Requirements: - Must be a U.S. citizen - Must hold a TS/SCI clearance - Must hold a polygraph Physical Requirements: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time - Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery - Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code subject to export control laws, employment with the company depends on verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
