About the Role:

As a Data Scientist at Renesas, you will harness advanced analytical techniques to interpret large and complex datasets, addressing significant business challenges and uncovering high-value insights. This role focuses on the strategic application of AI/ML technologies to propel Renesas’ objectives and innovation.

Our Team’s Vision:

The AI, Data & Analytics Division at Renesas is at the forefront of artificial intelligence and generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLM). Collaborating closely with business units, our team designs and deploys data-driven solutions that cement Renesas as a leader in global semiconductor innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aggregate, sanitize, and analyze data from diverse sources using Databricks.
• Prepare and optimize both structured and unstructured data for AI/ML applications.
• Generate actionable insights from data to inform cross-functional teams and projects.
• Continuously update your skills and knowledge in the evolving data science landscape, particularly around Databricks technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Demonstrable expertise in data engineering, analytics, and data platforms backed by a portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other essential data analysis and manipulation languages.
• Experience with Databricks solutions and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a penchant for innovation and curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Databricks certifications and hands-on experience with Apache Spark for processing large-scale data sets.
• Proven capability in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
• Experience in deploying LLM-based solutions and familiarity with cloud ecosystems, preferably Azure.
