AirDNA came to life from a simple dream in a warm California garage in 2015. Since then, this technology startup has expanded into a primary source for data and business intelligence in the billion-dollar travel and vacation rental industry. We have offices in Denver and Barcelona. We provide a self-serve platform, MarketMinder, eliminating guesswork and supplying Airbnb hosts with intelligent, competitive insights needed to succeed in the continually changing short-term rental industry. We also offer enterprise clients personalized reports and detailed dashboards to help them grow and invest tactically. These clients include hundreds of top-tier financial institutions, real estate companies, vacation rental managers, and destination marketing organizations from around the globe. We record the daily performance of over 10 million Airbnb and Vrbo properties across 120,000 global markets. Plus, we gather data from over a million partner properties. The combination of scraped data sources, improved by our exclusive algorithms, makes our solutions the most accurate and all-inclusive in the world. We firmly believe data is not the end but the beginning – the stepping-stone. It is foundational for any business looking towards the future. At AirDNA, we are a team of data enthusiasts on a quest to enable our clients to grow their businesses smartly. We're searching for a team leader who can apply an agile method to help us build sophisticated and scalable acquisition strategies. In essence, life is far from dull here. We genuinely embody our company's values: Happy, Hungry, and Honest. We encourage those who are ready to represent these values to apply. We invite you to apply even if you're unsure about meeting every requirement in this post. We consider every application carefully, not just those that tick all the boxes. As a Data Scientist, you will play a vital role in leveraging data-driven insights to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that allow our hosts to manage their rental properties efficiently, streamline operations, optimize pricing, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Data Scientist will also devise strategies and apply them to enhance our data in a rapidly evolving industry. Your duties will include developing, implementing, and validating data-driven models for predicting short-term rental market trends and investment opportunities. You will also be expected to use advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to prioritize features and deliver useful tools. To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or any related field. You should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on software development and advanced analytics. Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and large data sets in distributed systems is also necessary. In return, we offer several benefits like 36 holidays per year, continuing education stipend, individual growth plan to progress in the role, and more. We also organize team building events, maintain a vibrant work environment, and value potential ideas and innovations from our talented international team. AirDNA is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, physical or mental disability, marital, familial or parental status, genetic information, military status, veteran status or any other legally protected classification. We adhere to all local and state laws enforcing non-discrimination in employment and strictly prohibit illegal harassment based on these protected classes.
