Job Summary: DAZN is currently looking for a passionate and visionary Data Scientist to enhance our advertising strategies within our dynamic media sector. This role is pivotal in mining insights from data to boost our marketing outcomes and revenue growth. By working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will spearhead the development and implementation of sophisticated predictive models and algorithms, ultimately refining our advertising efforts and increasing monetization.
Main Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights
- Design and apply advanced analytical models, algorithms, and statistical methods to derive actionable insights from vast advertising data sets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities which could optimize ad targeting, enhance user engagement, and uplift campaign results.
- Execute A/B testing, attribution modeling, and other statistical techniques to evaluate the impact of different advertising strategies, pinpointing avenues for further optimization.
Predictive Modelling and Machine Learning
- Create predictive models and machine learning algorithms aimed at refining ad targeting, ad placement, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with teams across ad operations, product, and engineering to incorporate data-driven solutions within our advertising framework, thereby streamlining ad inventory management, audience segmentation, and performance forecasts.
- Assess model accuracy and adapt strategies for ongoing model enhancement, monitoring, and validation.
Who You Are:
A brilliant problem solver with:
- A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another STEM field.
- Profound knowledge of Python, including libraries essential for data science as well as machine learning libraries like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and xgboost.
- Demonstrable expertise in building and implementing machine learning models into production.
- Solid experience in data cleaning, preparation, feature engineering, model selection, and the intricacies of CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
- Robust SQL skills and the capability to execute data analyses using sophisticated data warehouses.
- An inherent curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to distill actionable solutions from diverse data sources.
Preferable:
- Familiarity with Deep Learning and associated frameworks like PyTorch, FastAI, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Some previous experience or knowledge within the advertising arena.
