Join Our Pharmacy Consulting Team - Pharma Engagement Lead Position at TELUS

Are you ready to lead and make a significant impact? We are expanding our Payor & Provider Solutions team, and we're looking for a dynamic Pharma Engagement Lead to spearhead our Price List agreement program and Pharmaceutical engagement strategy.

At TELUS, we pride ourselves on innovation and teamwork. As a key member of our Pharmacy Consulting team, you will play a pivotal role in executing our Product Listing Agreements (PLA) strategy, managing projects, and improving processes.

Role & Responsibilities

The Pharma Engagement Lead will be instrumental in driving growth and collaboration with our clients, internal teams, and stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing project plans to foster pharmaceutical partnerships and achieve program targets.
  • Negotiating and finalizing product list agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Navigating complex negotiations to add value for private payor clients while understanding the market and the Pharmacy benefit management ecosystem.
  • Identifying and prospecting potential pharmaceutical manufacturers for partnership opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within pharmaceutical companies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to create compelling value propositions and customized solutions for pharmaceutical partners.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify target areas for negotiations, market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Staying updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging pharmaceutical products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements.
  • Providing regular reports and updates on program activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to management.
  • Working with the Sales team to present and support private payor clients.
  • Producing high-quality deliverables with direction from senior leaders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a healthcare-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Pharmaceutical, Pharmacy benefit management, or insurer role.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and experience with product list agreements and industry regulations.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
