Job Description: Sampling and Test Development Manager

The Sampling and Test Development Manager is integral to our testing processes, overseeing development, maintenance, and quality assessment of tests. This role ensures comprehensive coverage of key legal, regulatory, and policy requirements with a strong emphasis on leveraging automation. Responsibilities may include leading a small team or functioning as an individual contributor, focusing on Sampling, Test Development, Quality Review, or Sample Execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and driving data acquisition strategies for Testing Control and Sampling Environment.
  • Overseeing the delivery and maintenance of quality tests.
  • Conducting quality reviews and sample execution.
  • Partnering with the Chief Testing Officer and EIT functional leads to define strategies and maintain quality standards.
  • Managing team members with diverse technical backgrounds to ensure effective completion of assigned functions.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration.
  • 7-10 years of experience in regulatory reporting, data, compliance, or risk functions.

Required Skills

  • Ability to detect and remediate process weaknesses.
  • High ownership and accountability for quality work.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing teams to deliver timely, high-quality work.
  • A track record of driving change and implementing process improvements.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong data quality mindset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with quantitative methods, data analytics, machine learning, and statistics.
  • Programming skills (e.g., Python) and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and related regulations.
  • Digital fluency.
