The Fulfilment Product Analytics Team drives product innovation through analytics and best experimentation practices. We continually develop features, refine models, assess changes, and run experiments to yield superior outcomes for our driver partners and millions of customers throughout Southeast Asia.
Your Role
Your role involves guiding a data-centric approach to product development, designing controlled experiments, and objectively evaluating results. You will collaborate with stakeholders on evaluating new and innovative product and business ideas. Additionally, you will support developers, designers, and product managers across the company by providing insights on how to leverage unexpected results, understand underlying causes, and iterate on subsequent products for our users.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with various teams (Product, Business, Engineering, Design, and Data Science) to understand data requirements, identify and track key metrics, and offer data-driven insights.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and provide recommendations.
- Understand business objectives and dive deep into existing data to propose new product ideas aimed at solving impactful customer problems.
- Use data to identify trends, spot anomalies, and examine their root causes.
- Utilize your analytical and storytelling skills to present data effectively through visualizations and dashboards.
- Discuss and align with stakeholders on key product metrics and propose experimentation strategies.
- Launch A/B tests, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Design and own frontend and backend data specifications for new products, collaborating with engineering teams for accurate and prompt data collection.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to address product reporting needs.
- Mentor junior team members, aiding their professional development in both technical and soft skills.
- Identify common hypotheses and problem statements, developing scalable analytical frameworks for efficient problem-solving.
- Maintain high standards in measurements, experimentation, analyses, and recommendations, ensuring data integrity and objectivity in decision-making processes.
- Evaluate the potential for new product development and participate in user research to validate customer issues.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- 6+ years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields (e.g., Analytics, Applied Data Science).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for problem-solving.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with experience in tools like PowerBI, Superset, or Tableau.
- Exposure to data pipeline creation and data engineering tools like Chimera, Airflow, Presto, Databricks, etc.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of presenting complex subjects to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn independently.
- Ability to deliver within tight timelines and work efficiently with cross-functional teams while maintaining great attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:
