Internship Overview
Torc is offering a challenging and intellectually stimulating internship position for a driven Intern to join our Perception Verification & Validation Team in Stuttgart. Your primary task will be to develop and refine Vision Language Models (VLMs) to automatically tag images, facilitating a powerful enhancement in error analysis and machine learning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Perception V&V team to develop robust VLMs for effective event tagging from various images.
- Implement and optimize models using our comprehensive internal datasets.
- Analyze and benchmark the results against manually labeled data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Candidate Profile
What does it take to succeed in this role?
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient with Linux platforms and familiar with dashboarding tools and libraries.
- Practical experience in software development and proficiency in high-level programming languages like Python, C, or C++.
- A driven, eager learner open to tackling new challenges and working collaboratively in an international team.
Desirable Additional Skills:
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Background in the autonomous vehicle industry or simulation technologies.
