The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) group at Fractal Analytics is on the lookout for Data Scientists who can conduct independent statistical and machine learning research/projects. What You'll Bring
- 4-8 years of experience in performance marketing analytics, web analytics, eCommerce, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel, along with experience in Product Analytics Tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
- Experience in programming languages and stats packages such as Python and R, as well as in experiment design, causal inference, and CLTV development
- Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and key drivers like Traffic, Conversion, and Revenue
- A solid grasp of Digital Marketing programs including SEO, PPC, Programmatic Display/Video, Social, and Affiliates
- Experience in managing end-to-end measurement programs and campaigns, including evaluating effectiveness, ROI, and Efficiency
- Exceptional ability to transform complex data into clear insights, actions, and recommendations
- Proven capability to influence business decisions through data at the leadership level
- Excellent problem-solving skills and quantitative thinking
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently to meet objectives and deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Foster a robust Test and Learn culture within the broader Marketing team in Retail
How You Will Lead
- Driving Business Strategy: Provide recommendations using various data types, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions where data is lacking. You will play a pivotal role in decision-making.
- Identifying Opportunities and Influencing Partners to Act: Partner with eCommerce and Digital Marketing leaders to provide critical marketing insights and influence strategic decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet leaders' expectations.
- Be the Dot Connector: Connect the dots across multiple data sources to shape analyses and findings that drive long-term solutions beyond short-term answers.
- Be the Analytics Translator: Define, implement, and standardize metrics, reports, and dashboards with a focus on insights. Work with Advanced Data Science teams to bring rigor and robustness to approaches, translating them into meaningful insights, tools, and business value.
- Test and Learn Culture: Foster a constant stream of testing and experimentation by identifying opportunities and influencing key stakeholders, applying learnings to forward-looking planning applications.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
