What You'll Do

As a key member of Zup's Data Team, you will use your expertise to nurture a data-driven culture across our client base and products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding business needs and ensuring the delivery of value.
• Designing architecture and evaluating technologies to address the right challenges.
• Implementing Data pipelines to support a Data Mesh architecture.
• Developing reusable components such as connectors, APIs, SDKs, CLIs.
• Automating and testing to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Tailoring solutions based on user feedback.
• Driving technological innovation and quality within the product and workplace.

Skills We Expect

You should have a solid background in data processing and cloud-based data solutions, specifically:

• Large scale data processing, parallel and distributed processing (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.);
• Experience with AWS Data & Analytics services (Glue, EMR, Athena, Quicksight);
• Proficiency in Python;
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services (S3, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway);
• Practical experience with SQL databases and NoSQL (document and key-value);
• DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CodePipeline, etc).

Additional Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Data democratization initiatives using Data Mesh;
• Familiarity with Stackspot or similar Enterprise Developer Platforms;
• Observability tools knowledge (Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, etc.);
• Background in developing solutions for financial institutions.
