Position: Research Scientist, Computer Vision (PhD)

We are eagerly looking for a creative, skilled, and motivated Research Scientist to elevate our media foundation modeling team, focusing on innovative image and video foundation models.

Your Role

As part of our dynamic team, you will:

• Collaborate with top-tier researchers to devise architectures integrating vision with language.
• Design and prototype interactive user experiences and assess them through meticulous user research.
• Create advanced data collection systems that enhance machine learning capabilities.
• Work across various teams to develop concepts that improve our entire product suite, including hardware and software.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or you are nearing the completion of one.
• Possess experience in crafting interactive solutions for areas like computer vision, NLP, or computer graphics.
• Skilled in using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledgeable in sequence modeling, domain adaptation, or representation disentanglement.
• Experienced in designing protocols for data collection and quality control.
• Understanding of machine learning, optimization, Bayesian statistics, and state estimation.
• Eligibility to obtain work authorization in the employment country and maintain it during your employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Research experience in real-time speech recognition or statistical text decoding.
• Proven ability in applying research to real-world products, particularly in computer vision or machine learning.
• Engagement in joint hardware-software development and rapid prototyping.
• Demonstrated software engineering skills via internships, work experiences, or contributions to major projects on platforms like GitHub.
• A strong record of achievements such as grants, fellowships, patents, or publications at leading conferences.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
