Your New Role

As a Senior Applied Scientist (Vision), your responsibilities will include:

• Exploring innovative feature extraction and data augmentation methods for generative image/video detection.
• Collaborating with top-tier scientists and engineers within our company to enhance integrations and functionalities.
• Conducting thorough research in deepfake image/video detection and integrating these discoveries into Reality Defender products.
• Documenting research findings for internal reviews and academic publication submissions.
• Hands-on programming using Python, PyTorch, and GPU-enabled cloud computing platforms like AWS/GCP to implement and assess new ideas effectively.

About You

Our ideal candidate will bring:

• A PhD in a technical field with at least 2 years of computer vision experience, or a master’s degree with 5+ years in the field.
• Proven track record of academic research publications.
• A solid understanding of diffusion models and expertise in diffusion-based deepfake generation.
• At least 2 years of programming experience in Python, with significant experience in developing deep learning models using PyTorch.
• Experience with authoring or contributing to peer-reviewed research papers in recognized AI research/audio/speech forums, such as CVPR, ICLR, NeurIPS.
• Excellent teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and effective communication capabilities.
• A keen interest in our field and the ability to commence work immediately.
