Join Our Team as a Senior Data Analyst at BMO
BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst within our Data Analytics & Reporting department. This role is essential for enhancing our North American Collections Analytics and contributing to our mission of Boldly Growing the Good in business and life.
What You Will Do:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Management of data sets vital for strategy development and customer segmentation.
- Designing and implementing ad hoc analytics, segmentation, and testing to enhance decision-making in collections and recovery processes.
- Developing innovative collection and recovery strategies using data analysis techniques including decision trees, logistic scorecards, and NPV modeling.
- Assessing the profitability of strategies through detailed risk and return analysis.
- Producing monthly performance reports across different strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborating with both internal and external teams to define targeted treatments based on strategic analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust strategies based on performance and analytics insights through a continuous change management process.
- Engage in capacity planning and portfolio management, including adjustments based on customer risk profile and operational execution.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or another related quantitative field.
- At least 1+ year(s) of experience in analytical roles, ideally within Credit Risk, Marketing, or Collection environments, or a relevant graduate degree with internship experience.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and potentially other statistical or data mining tools like Python.
- Strong statistical capabilities, including experience with A/B testing and decision tree modeling.
Compensation:
An attractive salary range of $54,500.00 - $101,500.00, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more.
