Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineering Manager at Analog Devices, you will play a pivotal role in steering ADI towards a data-driven future. You will oversee a global team of Data Engineers and Analysts, managing and leading the development of sophisticated data technologies and products that support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a talented team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to align data engineering strategies with company objectives.
  • Utilize Python for hands-on tasks, crafting complex SQL queries, and conducting exploratory data analysis.
  • Create dynamic dashboards using enterprise tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Leverage cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP to enhance our data capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for effective data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions that drive significant business value.
  • Champion data management best practices, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the data across the enterprise.
  • Drive continuous improvement by exploring innovative technologies and methodologies that enhance team productivity and data utility.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations on project progress and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for long-term data engineering capabilities, aligning with business priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software and data engineering, with a strong foundation in team leadership and project management.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, streaming systems, and modern data engineering tools such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, and Dagster.
  • Profound knowledge of Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and strong skills in Python, SQL, and database design.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, architect, and manage data products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead technical teams effectively.
