Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of our agile team, you will:
- Design and implement software solutions by applying unconventional approaches and sophisticated techniques.
- Develop secure, high-quality code and build data models to enhance application integration and efficiency.
- Translate complex business needs into streamlined data and business models, optimizing data flow and reducing redundancy.
- Engineer comprehensive data pipelines using Spark SQL, Java, and AWS Services, alongside other programming and database tools.
- Proactively analyze data to identify underlying patterns, leading to coding improvements and architectural enhancements.
- Maintain essential documentation related to Datamart architecture, data models, ETL processes, and governance policies.
- Contribute to building a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team culture.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a solid track record in system design and application development.
- Advanced skills in PL/SQL, Java, Scala, or Python, and proficiency in both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in Spark-based frameworks for ETL, ELT, and data integration.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Experience with AWS services such as AWS Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, EMR, and various Kubernetes services.
- Familiarity with Oracle 19c databases, Informatica, and cloud technologies.
Preferred Expertise:
Additional desirable skills include:
- Familiarity with Databricks, data lakes, big data technologies, and metadata management.
- Experience with advanced reporting tools like Cognos and Qlik Sense.
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
