In this role, you’ll engage in investigative research to understand future capabilities, fine-tuning AI models to ensure top-tier functionality. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with users and industry experts to identify primary use-cases and workflows.
  • Enhance the design and usability of ArcGIS Pro AI Copilot.
  • Develop, implement, and validate test cases and bug fixes.
  • Maintain and grow the automated test suite.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across current and past software versions.
  • Integrate Copilot capabilities across the ArcGIS Platform with feature teams.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advances in AI and application development frameworks.
  • Share projects and workflows through samples, tutorials, blog articles, videos, and help documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in application development languages (Python, C#).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts.
  • Experience in building training datasets and fine-tuning/training AI models (NLP or vision).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development processes.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with natural language processing and generative models.
  • Proficiency in using AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
  • Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design techniques.
  • Master’s degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
