Job Description and Qualifications

Our team at The Boeing Company is actively hiring Mid and Lead-Level Systems Engineers to join our Government Training Engineering (GTE) and SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) team. This role is focused on verification activities and coordinating integration activities for the F-15 International Trainers located in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate interdisciplinarily to plan, design, develop, and verify system solutions.
  • Define and coordinate system performance requirements to integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Conduct analyses to optimize system architecture for affordability, safety, reliability, and other quality factors.
  • Develop and manage requirements, tools, risk, issue, and opportunity management, along with technology readiness assessments.
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues and support other programs as needed.

This position requires obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is mandatory. You will be expected to work 100% onsite at the Hazelwood, MO location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of SEIT product development lifecycle experience.
  • 1+ years in engineering development processes and team leadership.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent education.
  • Experience with integrating and troubleshooting aircrew training systems.
  • Proficiency in developing verification acceptance test procedures.
  • Experience with script automation and network architecture development.
  • Fighter trainer platform experience, particularly with the F-15, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe/EVM methodologies.

Typical Education & Experience

Mid-Level: Advanced technical education with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, plus 5+ years of related work experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Lead-Level: Advanced technical education similar to Mid-Level, with 9+ years of related experience or equivalent combinations of higher education and experience.

Compensation:

  • Mid-level: $97,750 - $132,250
  • Lead-level: $119,850 - $162,150

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
