Position Summary

As part of Samsung Electronics' dynamic team, the AI/ML Engineer will be pivotal in utilizing machine learning technology to revolutionize our processes and products. You will be instrumental in data collection, development of algorithms, and the optimization of software for performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Finding Areas to Apply Machine Learning: Analyze real-world data during software application and production processes to integrate machine learning technology effectively.

Collecting and Managing Training Data: Oversee the development of strategies for effective data collection and management for training advanced machine learning algorithms.

Developing Data Pre-processing Algorithms: Design algorithms that accurately reflect the nuances of collected data and reduce unnecessary complexities.

Modeling and Pattern Recognition: Create machine learning models and pattern recognition algorithms that meet user-defined goals.

Evaluating Performance: Implement performance evaluation strategies to assess and ensure the efficiency of applications.

Securing Computing Resources: Supervise the allocation and management of extensive computing resources necessary for high-power algorithms, such as deep learning and data-intensive tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set in:

• Data Platforms – Expertise from data collection to knowledge extraction.
• Learning Platforms – Experience with OnDev and Federated learning pipelines.
• Knowledge in Knowledge Extraction, Knowledge Graphs, and Pattern Mining.
• Proficiency in LLM Finetuning.

Candidates are expected to employ professional concepts and organizational objectives to solve complex issues creatively and effectively. This role requires a systematic approach to decision-making through in-depth data evaluation, employing various methods and techniques to achieve excellent results. Leadership experience, including cost and staff management, is highly beneficial.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a Master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
