Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our AI and Modeling Center of Excellence in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role involves:
- Designing and developing computer vision and image processing algorithms.
- Prototyping and validating new machine learning, deep learning, and image processing algorithms.
- Creating end-to-end solutions considering the entire system and user experience.
- Driving systems integration of algorithms within a multi-functional organization.
- Writing robust production-quality code and supporting creative ideas from prototype to production.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- A Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and image processing.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate problems into mathematical equations.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel globally for demos and project support at customer sites.
Preferred Experience

- Strong understanding of deep learning models related to image processing and computer vision.
- Hands-on experience with computer vision challenges and low-level image processing algorithms.
- Appreciation for complex image acquisition systems.
- New college graduates with 1+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, image processing, or computer vision are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- PhD in a relevant field (preferred) OR Master's with 3+ years of experience OR Bachelor's with 5+ years of experience.
