Job Description
This role is integral to Vuori's Ecommerce Team as we aim to build the analytics infrastructure necessary to fuel growth, optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies, and develop our unique measurement capabilities. The Ecommerce & Data Science Analyst will delve into Vuori's Ecommerce Data, develop data frameworks and reporting tables for use by our Analysts, and collaborate closely with our Data Enterprise Team to develop data pipelines for our reporting needs.
In the short to medium term (6 months to 1 year), the Analyst will mainly handle data movement, data cleansing, integrity management, and data preparation to support our Analysts and Data Modeling initiatives. The Analyst will work intimately with our first-party customer, sales data, third-party vendor data, and session data to create unified tables and schemas. The projects the Analyst will contribute to include:
- Ecommerce KPI Ownership
- Customer Cohort and Omni Channel Customer Analysis
- Media Mix Modeling
- Market Basket Analyses
- Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Data Activation and Automation.
Long term (1 year+), the Analyst will shift to managing tasks that directly influence data-driven decision-making and strategies that steer Ecommerce. They will directly oversee analyses that provide insight into Ecommerce Channel Optimization and Customer Strategies (both acquisition and retention). Furthermore, the Analyst will play a significant role in model ownership and application across all Ecommerce Channels.
The Ecommerce Analytics team works cross-functionally, collaborating regularly with a variety of teams both within and outside of ecommerce. Candidates must be team players, eager to work together and excited to create solutions to push the business forward.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with ecommerce, analytics, engineering, and tech teams to build data models and innovations to enhance our reporting capabilities.
- Act as an authority on all ecommerce and demand-based data pipelines.
- Design solutions to ensure the integrity of ecommerce data across our platforms and reports.
- Lead QA initiatives on Ecommerce Data, KPIs, and Reporting.
- Drive automation efforts.
- Prepare and clean first-party and cross-channel data for use in Media Mix Models.
- Create approaches to democratize data to the broader ecommerce team with self-service options and capabilities.
- Develop documentation for all relevant reporting and data models.
- Build and maintain regular reporting for the E-Commerce channel.
- Support ecommerce forecasting initiatives and collaborate with team leads on monthly forecast updates.
Qualifications
- SQL and data warehousing (Snowflake) expertise.
- Proficient in data manipulation and data-wrangling.
- Experience in ETL solutions including data analysis, cleansing, merging, and automation.
- Experience working with Data Engineering Teams on developing and building data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Google Marketing Cloud (BigQuery).
- Understanding of the core principles of data integrity, management.
