Position: EY GDS - AI & DATA – Manager – Data Architect

As a part of our EY-GDS AI & DATA team, you will help clients tackle complex business challenges through the power of data and technology. We delve into data to extract maximum value and uncover opportunities in key sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The Opportunity

We're seeking Managers with a robust understanding of technology and data, proven delivery capabilities, and client experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm and a growing AI & DATA team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Analytics and AIML teams to develop and analyze features at scale. Provide SME-level guidance to team members to optimize workflows, streamline operationalization, and reduce time-to-market.
• Develop distributed applications on-premises and on Cloud that scale to serve ML models, analytics, rules, web applications, and visualizations for end-users.
• Monitor and deploy production models to ensure stable performance and compliance with standards.
• Create libraries to facilitate the development, monitoring, and control of data and models.
• Identify and recommend improvements to current designs and processes.

Required Skills

Primary Skills:

• 8-11 years of experience in designing, architecting, developing, and operationalizing Data Engineering and AI/ML models across Big Data Ecosystems (PySpark, Hadoop, Snowflake, Python).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data-intensive applications for practical use-cases.
• Proficient in Java/C++.
• Experience working in a Linux environment, including writing shell scripts, troubleshooting business user issues, handling NFS shares, and resolving permission and space issues.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in the Financial Industry.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse solutions (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Experience working within Kanban teams.
• Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in architecting distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience in building ML applications.
