The Role:

Full-time (40 hours/week) Software Engineer internships at Fetch take place over 12 consecutive weeks, beginning between May 20 and August 9, 2023. Applicants should have at least one quarter/semester left in their undergraduate/graduate studies after the internship ends. You will need to be located in Madison, Chicago, or Madison for the entire summer.

The Machine Learning Engineering team takes pride in creating holistic machine learning systems that underpin vital applications like receipt processing, fraud prevention, and product personalization. The team is responsible for all aspects of ML systems development, including model creation, model deployment, integration with existing infrastructure, and monitoring for accuracy and performance. Success in this role calls for tackling demanding problems and designing & developing extraordinary solutions with the guidance of an experienced team member.
What You Bring:
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with open-source ML frameworks like , TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
  • Familiarity with ML fundamentals such as model selection, training, and evaluation
  • An interest in building ML systems in a production environment
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Experience with AWS or any other Cloud Computing providers
